New Program to Help Pregnant Women Quit Smoking


A new government funded program is aimed at helping pregnant Colorado women quit tobacco for the benefit of their babies. Dr. Heather LaChance spoke with CBS4′s Kathy Walsh about the program. National Jewish Health operates the Colorado Quitline for the state.

    Maternal milk is already toxic for newborns worldwide due to polution. just by breathing. so what is the point of trying to get poison off in a toxic environement again? look at it this way ;)

    wtf dude, are u serious? it is bad for pregnant women to smoke as it is for everyone else ? aaaa worse because it would affect future generations. silly me ! wow…and then there’s the blonde lady talking about social patterns associated “young mom’s” and so…until…”the State is steping in !”

    Smoking is bad to your health. With every puff you take, you fill your system with thousands of toxic chemicals. It is no wonder men and women wish to quit smoking, but it’s extremely hard. I came across an effective method to quit smoking, youtube wont let me post it here so I put the link in my profile.
